Both Jennings and Harris can run with the ball and Harris is adept throwing while he is moving. They will be in the read option most of the time. The defensive read is simple for each set. This allows the QB to make a read just before the snap and decide which of 3 options he wants: pass, hand off or run himself. On the actual snap if the D makes an adjustment, the adjustment exposes another weak point and the QB can attack that by realizing who the hot receiver is after the adjustment or whether he can hand off or run the ball.
This is what Harris did in high school. Also AJ, but to a lessor degree. This also fits their skills and allows them a certainty of what they are to execute. This will improve their execution because they will know what they are doing at once. There will hardly be any changes in sets, just the point of attack.
Who can forget Harris's failed efforts at trying to adjust sets and plays in the Auburn game and who can forget the clarity he had in execution and personal performance he had in the MSU game when he knew what he was going to do at the snap.
IMO we did not see Harris after the Auburn game because they realized he would not perform well in their current system and did not bother to even get him to do more than learn pass patterns intending to change to an offensive scheme more favorable to his and Jennings skills in 2015. The big problem was the retraining the OL. That takes a long time.

Hopefully it means we will see more of the offense they ran in the spring game. That was a thing of beauty,

Yes and it isn't even close. I'm not coaching the team obviously, but I'll stack my educational credentials up against ol' Les any day of the week thank you.
Now go back and finish your GED smart guy!

I'm interested in why you don't apply any of this "intellect" to your posts on TD.

So it's the coaches fault that a freshman and sophomore QB didn't play to ridiculous expectations? It's called a rebuilding year. We lost a lot of talent to the NFL. Receivers didn't exactly help them out, Dural said it himself.
Is it really that funny that I didn't separate my paragraphs? You need more fun in your life.

Because its a chat room "genius." I do enough thinking in my job. This is the place to come for mindless drivel....you of all people should know that. Besides, don't you enjoy rustling jimmies just for the hell of it?

I don't think you have any clue what I said. Or for that matter, what you said.

All four of these teams are better than any team Ohio State played last year.

All points are valid, and none are contradicting. What exactly are you saying sir?

Even less plays. More predictable. Awesome.

You do realize we had to dumb down Cam Cameron's offense last year right? It wasn't fitting a square peg in a round hole, it was simply doing what we could with what we had. Harris wasn't ready and Jennings is inaccurate, that makes for a tough game plan.
REAL fans understand that last year was a young team with a new blocking scheme. Think about this, if we play Ohio State's schedule, we most likely go undefeated. We are in the best conference in the country by far, we will not win every game every year in the SEC
Paragraph 1....."we weren't a very good team."
Paragraph 2....."this bad team could have most likely gone undefeated with OSU's schedule."

No, YOU tell us! That's why I want you to understand what you are saying before you TRY to understand what I am saying. I have to know what kind of idiot i am dealing with, here.

1. Never said our team was bad. Our QBs were young so we adjusted our plan accordingly. Where did you get bad team from?
2. OSU had an EXTREMELY WEAK schedule. So yes, I think we would have gone undefeated.
We all have opinions sir, however it seems like you have decided to attack me personally versus actually reading my post and responding.

Not attacking you. You are reading way, way too far into this and want some kind of validation for being a victim.
This just sounds like a case where you can't handle the truth or cannot even comprehend it.
Either way, I'm not impressed one bit by your weakness.

Need I remind all of you that Les purposely tells lies to the media.
I used to think he was "smart like a fox" but the years have made me wise to his non-sense. Its hard to find a lot of value in anything he says to media. He seems almost as uncomfortable giving an interview as he does watching games from the sideline.

This and people also forget, as it come to light lately, that the receivers did a very poor job last year as well due to their lack of experience... All should be better this year.
and to address another post here Dupre did run the slot in the SG and did very well. Expect to see Dural, Chark, and Dupre as #1s going into the first game.

if only the kid who wrote that only chilled out enough to say that we wouldn't go undefeated with OSU's schedule.
stating that LSU doesn't have great talent at certain positions and suggesting that LSU could go undefeated with tOSU's schedule is a poor man's way of giving up, intellectually.
