Yea because I implied that the play never works.
Having the play is ok but we run it way too much. I'm not a fan of the entire defense knowing where the ball is 0.5 seconds after we snap it

We will get a dominant run game with 50+ carries and very few passing attempts. Basically, the game plan we have seen all year.
And that is exactly what the game plan should be for this one, despite the moaning on the Rant.
This is the correct answer. Guice and Fournette running errywhere and burning up clock so TT can't score.

Serious? Play action throws between hash and sideline. Runs off tackle. Telegraphed screens

I expect sloppy execution with multiple false starts and illegal motion penalties. We will see a LOT of toss dive and LF.....granted, that is what you should do against TT.
BUT, TT will have their best rushing defensive showing this year stuffing 10 in the box and Les refusing to throw over them. That said, LF will rush for 225 yds, BH will throw for 225 yds and LSU will win by 1-3 points.
This game is going to piss everyone off.

Yes we should run it.
But we will throw it about 30 times to try to appease the fans.

I think the Tigers will show up on offense artificially setting the hopes up too high for next season. I believe the issue will be the year long problem, red zone scoring.
Still, LSU puts up over 500 yards of offense. Not sure if it's a win or not.

Not much. We have the worst scheme in college football.

while I might be inclined to agree, this game is tailor made for Les Miles

When have we ever tried to do this?

Beefense, I can't watch that Gif enough. My favorite highlight of the season. Great block by JD Moore...glad he will be playing tonight. Oh, wait...
That's why this game still scares me. Moore playing would all but guarantee a win tonight. Without him, it's a different offense. Hope Mouton can step up, and/or TT run defense plays as badly as advertised.

Really bad when you have the following:
Derrius Guice
Tyron Johnson
Donte Jackson
Malachi Dupree
Leonard Fournette
Trey Quinn
John Diarse
Travin Dural
Darrell Williams
Desean Smith
And JD Moore is the most important person in the entire offense.

I agree completely. Have an upvote.
Moore is so critical to spring LF in the toss dive because Les won't incorporate all those other weapons into a balanced offensive scheme.

Do you expect more of the same, in the area of 14-20 points?
quote:i don't call this "getting back on track". this is getting back to what you do best against inferior talent.
Or do you think Cam and his staff can pull a complete 180 and get back on track?
I think this offense will do what it does best with Les and the rest of this coaching staff this game and next year also.. run, run, run...

Let's see, TT is weak defending the run.....I expect a plethora of 40-50 yard passes.
