You call it bashing I call it criticizing. You will defend him at all costs. There is no reason a team with the talent LSU has shouldn't field better offensive teams. It's okay to want the team to be more complete as a fan. Most fans want their team to be the best they can be.

What are your thoughts on the offense under miles?

As an LSU fan (hopefully first and foremost) don't you want miles to fix our offensive woes?

Game plan wasn't the problem Execution was

The reality is almost all of your comments point out part of the problem. We have many problems.

That leads you straight to the guy in charge. When an organization has the elements for success but fails to succeed there is one place only for the failure to rest. The person in charge.

It is not enough for that person to say it is my fault. That person must make the needed changes to correct the failure or the failure continues.

The Board who oversees the person in charge must make the decision of how long they will allow the failure cycle to continue before change at the top position must occur.

There are only two scenarios when a board normally makes changes. 1. Revenue failure 2. A moral failure that will impact the image of the corporation and ultimately the revenue.

IT is really about the money

Execution was poor; LSU's execution is rarely consistently excellent game-to-game. To me, that is to be expected to a degree in CFB because of time demands and limited practice. And, yes it's cliche at this point, youth hurts here too. It can and should be improved.

However, what's most disappointing to me is the inability to admit there is an overall and systematic problem on offense. Is 2013 Cam+Mett the exception? If it is, we're in trouble. I am an engineer. One thing I preach to young engineers that work for me is to identify the real problem before initiating fixes/solutions. To do otherwise is inefficient and just throwing shite at the wall and seeing what sticks. Judging by CLM's post-Arky presser, they can not identify the problem(s) because they are still at the point denying there is one. To blame it on execution is to reinforce that.

I'm definitely an lsu fan first and foremost. I like les miles and have enjoyed him coaching at lsu. I have never met him so it's not like I am bros with him or something like someone on here told me once

The offense was awful and has been awful for most of this season.
I loved last years offense. I think last years offense and this years defense (after auburn) would put that team in the playoffs.

Something needs to change. There has to be change. I'm not blind to that. I just don't think 100% is complete and clear cut miles fault although he is the head coach and will receive the blame and that comes with territory.

Qb needs to change and play calling has to improve. But I think the problem has been qb play. Bad qb play has bottled play calling. It's a circle of awful.

I'm willing to give s chance to see a turn around with this staff.

I'm really not a defend miles at all cost guy. I just get annoyed with the constant doom and gloom retards that really don't know football.

I think we can all agree no matter what happens u won't please everyone. Since it is usually the same problems and hiring new coaches doesn't fix the issue for more than a season it won't get better consistently till miles is gone, still support the team but not miles.

A lot like me

I don't get on her demanding he be fired. I just want him to trust someone with the offense. Or hire someone that will make it more dynamic. I don't want A&M or Auburns offense. I want to be more like UGA & Bama offensively.

What disappoints me a lot is that the AD would allow Miles to hire someone like Bradley Dale who has failed miserably in every job he has taken.

I don't believe he can since the issue is with QB selection, development and guidance - Certainly wish he could but I don't think the skills are there.

He has had plenty of time and many players have come and gone who had been selected. The only QB who has done well in his tenure were not identified by him but by others. Those QB's who were here by Sabin selection and development and Mett who we all know his history, even he was benched while JJ did his deal.

So NO.

If that was execution I saw Saturday night, then I have some land to sell you in St. Bernard Parish. Meet you at low tide.

I get what you're saying, but compare that to whatever was on the field Saturday and it doesn't hurt so bad that that's our offensive ceiling under miles.

The problem is that Miles thinks execution by the players will let the scheme shine. He doesn't realize though that the scheme sucks monkey nuts and that Earl Campbell or Emmit Smith would have trouble running for yards in this offense.

How many times did the Arkansas safety start full out running before the snap up to the line ?

Hasn't developed a QB since Fisher left
clock management cluster frick
lack of making adjustments(not defense)

Miles can spin the way it wonts to take the blame off of him and his staff.

That goes right to the core of the issue. everything else is just secondary.

nothing to see here. this is how a team functions withing the media. They are not going to call out each other individually.

"execution" does not have a name or a face. Have you ever been in a locker room? Jennings admitted he needed to play better. Would it make you happy for him to call out the oline for shotty pass pro? Or should he call out CD42 for missing a 2nd qtr chip shot?

I dont know what you expect a kid to say.......who is part of a team. I for one am glad that he doesnt give the media what they want.

Furthermore i don't think there is any scheme that Jennings would look good at executing.

Moving the pocket is the only thing he looks remotely comfortable doing. Only negative is you're only using 1/2 the field.

We've got to game plan some short stuff, TE's and RB's.

It's really ashame it has to be so difficult to develop a vertical passing game and that's on the coaching staff.

If the offense was executing well and we were still losing, you'd have a point. But seeing the piss poor execution on the field kind of fits what Miles is saying. That being said, we either have some really dense players or Miles and the offensive staff are not very good at getting the guys to execute a gamelan.

Execution is a byproduct of being prepared. That is the difference in LSU under Saban and miles. Always has been, probably always will be.

I;ve seen LSU under saban look just as clueless at times. We weren't some unstoppable force year in year out.

People are projecting Saban's success at Bama back onto LSU.

Everybody fricks up and makes mistakes sometimes, we get that. Saban is not perfect here either. The larger point is that Saban is more prepared and fricks up less than almost any other coach at this high of a level and getting paid this much money.

Our coach on the other hand, is easily the LEAST prepared and makes the MOST mistakes of any of his peers, yet he gets a pass year after year by the media, the LSU admins, and even the fans. No one holds him accountable for all of the mistakes he makes, and he almost never admits that he did anything wrong or that he needs to change his ways.

Look, he's a good guy and all we get that, it's not hatred of the person, it's hatred of this mind numbing brand of football that he's force feeding down our throats. We don't want that, an he doesn't seem to get it, or care that we don't.
