Kelly is gonna be treated like McElwain at UF.....from the very start. Division championships weren't good enough there and they pretty much booted him just because he didn't fit. They expected a Natty overnight.

Kelly CAN do well here. But dammit you guys are gonna have to embrace him.

We have like 60 dudes on the roster, and may lose 15-20 quick here. No one expects success year 1. But clean the roster bleeding, run the ball with some success, and don't embaress the program

I promise not to fire him on TD before the end of his 3rd game. That's as far as I'll go though.

You mean like give him a hug after the introductory press conference?

Florida has a problem with trying to get up and coming coaches. It worked great with Urban, but hasn’t since.

If you’re making over 100 million I expect more than what Jimbo is doing at A&M

Have pride in the school and fans will warm up quickly.

Saban and Miles were dirty Yankees

I’m already questioning his play calling. We should start looking for a replacement. Unless he starts the backup QB. ALWAYS start the backup!

Our fanbase will probably start bitching before the first game. Unrealistic expectations and completely spoiled and uneducated fans are what we are known for. It's Louisiana....

Don’t mistake this website as the majority of the fanbase. There are some real knuckleheads reacting negatively.

A hug is prudent.

At least they didn't hire "kissin" Tom Herman

He will be treated by most like he has to prove himself.

He has kept Notre Dame respectable but certainly not contenders for a 'ship. He has not had one team that had a reasonable chance to win it all. He seems to hold a program together, remains to be seen if he can take the next step.

Offensively his teams seem to be area of concern for me.

How long should we give him before we expect to win the SEC west?

I am excited about the OL improving? It should.

Put it this way, Even Ed Orgeron won it all by his 3rd season. Needs to at least be held accountable to the level O was held to. Needs to win it all by season 3 or at least be in the championship game.

I think Miles left Orgeron with more OL talent than Orgeron is leaving Kelly.
