Is it not clear to you...

- Who was LSU offering more money to for next year?
- Who made the difference with Burrow, Jefferson, Chase, Clyde, Thad, etc?
- Who won the Broyles award?
- What did the offense rank with Ensminger, when Brady was not around?
- Who was every college and NFL team interested in, that had an OC vacancy? Why will no one ever offer Ensminger an OC position, other than LSU?

But but but Tom Herman won the Broyles award too in 2014, that's why he's won 5 straight national titles now

oh wait, venebles won the broyles award too. that's why we couldn't beat clemson this year.

oh wait

But if you think this entire season was only because of Brady

Well it was MAINLY because of him. Obviously E had a sizeable contribution as well, but the offensive turnaround was due to bringing Brady on board with his schemes. It's literally why they hired them and that comes straight from O and E themselves.

Being a great/elite coordinator doesn't guarantee you win any NCs as an HC. Not sure what your point is here.

Are you being serious right now? Clemson has won how many national championships in the past 3 years? LSU had one of the best teams to ever play college football this year.

Again what's your point here?

You are terrible at making points, obviously. We do not need Brady, but there is a need for someone much more innovative than Ensminger. This much has been proven repetitively. Miles lost because of stubborn insanity. Fortunately I do not believe that Orgeron will share the opinions of all the simpletons that believe Ensminger can just learn this mentality of Brady. It is not about learning a playbook. It is about being able to create a new one, routinely.

my point is that we don't NEED Brady, and certainly "he won the broyles award" is not any sort of further proof we need him when a previous broyles winner just got his arse handed to him.

"brady won the broyles in 2019" is not all of a sudden some super justification that brady is the one single variable that wins a championship

You need a Brady for sure. This season doesn't happen without Brady. Period. Also I never said that Brady is the only reason we won, but pretending like it doesn't matter if he leaves is just dumb. Of course it matters. He was instrumental in having the success we had this year and there's plenty of evidence beyond the broyles award to prove that.

I will leave this alone, as I know I shouldn't argue with middle school girls. Men do not converse in such a childish manner.

Listen, Brady has been phenomenal, but this entire show has been orchestrated and assembled by Ed Orgeron.

If he hasn’t earned everyone’s trust in his ability to bring the pieces here that we need, then there is quite literally nothing he can do to earn it.

We will be fine.

Was going to say this, but you pretty said it all right there. Would we have preferred to keep Brady? Of course! But Coach O identified the offense that he wants to run and found someone to help with it. And Coach O now has a reputation for letting his coaches coach, which can only help in luring talent here to fill that role.

It’s worth noting that Brady also had a guy to run his scheme named Joe Burrow, who also happens to be one of the best college football QB’s. Ever.

Brady and Burrow had a symbiotic relationship.
Yes, Brady implemented tactics which helped Burrow to improve.

Brady is really good and his loss stings, but also look at the example of a coach named Curley Hallman who was shocking people with his results, only to find out the results were mainly because of some guy named Brett Favre.

Brady is not the only reason. Burrow is not the only reason.

What is the common denominator is a guy named Ensminger and a guy named Orgeron.

Trust.

And if you think that Ensminger was the architect of our record breaking unstoppable offense, then you’re an even bigger fool.

Pretty sure I read that Burrow was alwys talking to Brady on the headset. I think I read that this morning. I’ve read so much shite on LSU today I can’t remember where I read it though.

It will be easier this time too. This time they will be asking CEO and Woodward to interview with us instead of us scouring the weeds for the right guy.

But you want to scour the weeds if you have an eye for talent. We bought really low on Brady. As a known commodity he would've broken the bank.

Burrow and basically the entire offense were on the team last year. Fast forward one year after adding an innovative mind and look at the results. That’s pretty much all the proof you need in how important Brady was to this historic run.

That shite isn’t easy.

Also, Brady was the guy who, if things worked out, could have been someone to take over the program. He looked like a guy either the horsepower to do it.

“Calling the plays” is such a ridiculously oversimplification of the genius that we saw on offense this year. It’s like 15% of what made the system special.

This needs to be posted in response to any "We'll be fine with Ensminger" posts.

Brady engineered this offense. He identified the mismatches, exploited weaknesses, exposed tendencies.

He coached up the WRs, working with the QBs/WRs on timing, route running, execution, etc.

An offense isn't just a playbook. We're going to find that out the hard way next year if Ensminger is the guy next year.

It could always be worse, just look at Penn State.

Given all the scandalous shite that’s gone down at Penn State, Michigan State and Ohio State, it might be best for everyone to just shut down the B1G and its member institutions permanently.
