What are the chances Guice rushes for more yards than LF7 week1 vs Wiscy?

I was watching some Guice Highlights today. Obviously he is young and easily overshadowed by Fournette but this kid is gonna be something great. Outside of Tiger Nation and maybe a handful of SEC opponents not many people know who this guy is. He could easily start anywhere else in the country. Guice is a highlight reel everytime he touches the ball. He doesn't get many opportunities to touch the ball but when he does he doesn't waste it. I could see Wiscy putting an all out effort to shutdown fournette. Could leave the door open for Guice to make some plays. Obviously it's probably far fetched that he outrushes fournette but its not completely out of the question. Miles is also known to stick with the hot-horse. So if the yards are hard to come by with fournette and Guice breaks a few out on the perimeter you never know....

Either way, LSU has the deepest RB core in the Nation this year. The amount of talent on this team this year is downright scary. Can't wait to watch these boys this season.

I tweeted @ him. And he retweeted it and I became famous for a day.
It's a sign

But no.
LF for 200 and a few TDs
Guice gets carries here and there and takes over late in the third/early 4th and racks up around 100 with a TD or two.

Unless he breaks a 80-90 yarder and LSU gets up big early, slim.

It was a disgrace to the Heisman trophy voting last year that the guy who had the highest average rush total per game and the highest average touchdowns per game didn't get invited to New York and 2 other RBs did. IMO

With all due respect to Guice., slim and none.

Meh. I'm just hoping they both have great performances and we win. All year. I'm all for our players have stand-out performances and garnering individual awards and accolades, but it's a team sport. I just want the coaches to go with what works.

"Corp". It's pronounced the same as "core", and it means what you meant.

I think the likliest way Guice could have more yardage is if, late in the game, he rips off a very long run. Let's say Fournette has 110 and Guice has 50 yards, it's the middle of the fourth quarter, and Guice rips off an 80 yarder. Now, it's 130 for Guice and 110 for Fournette, and maybe Fournette doesn't get the ball again, especially if we have a big lead.

Don't forget he outrushed fournette in a game where fournette broke off a long run

Par for the course as far as the Heisman goes IMHO. The trophy is a joke now. Sure, an LSU player winning it would be great pub, but it doesn't go to the most outstanding player in college football and hasn't for a long time, if not ever.

His best chance is if we jump up big and LF7 has a quick 150 with a few TDs and 50 something receiving yards type games and come out early.

If Wisconsin can't stop up i could see Guice getting a good number of reps later in the game after LF7 gets rested and Wisconsin is tired.

Zero percent chance cause miles will run Fournette until his tongue hits the floor.

LF7's career high is 32 in a game that was 13-7 until his 29th carry (a TD)

If this game isn't close Miles wont run LF7 into the ground.

Hell if Les really wanted to run LF7 into the ground he would still be kickoffs.

If they are making an effort to shutdown Fournette and succeeding that means they are shutting down the running back, no matter who that back is. Shutting down the RB could open things up for the passing game, but not another RB.

Edited to fix where stupid autocorrect changed "RB" to "Arab"

Probably like 20%...

But it wouldn't be a surprise to me if he did.

Only one way he outgains Fournette and I'm not about to say how...I don't want to put a curse on Fournette.
