According to Laird, this is what it means, although he doesn't participate.

I don't like anything that paints our teams in a negative light. Especially when they are top notch talent. I just don't understand why we have to act like that.

Do you know something you are not sharing? Do you know what it means?

You are either trolling or have never played sports.

I totally agree with this....but when you act as if you are rubbing it in the opponents face, then expect the wrath of opposition when you are looking for neutral fans.

I know what the chop meant. It came from the top. Not good for a top program.

That is why I ask what this really means. Everyone is harassing the guy that started this thread. But, he may be right!!! If it is nasty, it is a secret and none of us will know. But, they do it even though there are children in the stands. If it isn't nasty, why wouldn't they share it?

Pretty sure no one on the team is worried about attracting neutral fans after SMASHING A CLUTCH HIT.

Almost every team celebrates a big hit on base towards his own teammates with a team gesture. There is NOTHING wrong with it..

Looks like they are just doing a silly gesture among themselves and having fun

All I'm saying is DON'T BE COCKY!!! Beat the other teams arse and act like you expected to win!!!!

It is in no way a cocky gesture. It's a having fun, team bonding moment.

If I'm not mistaken, Breg said he would tell what it meant at the end of the season. Bet he won't.

think I overheard them talk about it. I may be wrong,” Laird said. “I haven’t really asked, but I think it means ‘You’re crazy for throwing to me.’” If you’ve watched LSU play a game this season, chances are you’ve seen it. Guys like Alex Bregman, Kade Scivicque and Conner Hale draw imaginary circles on each side of their heads upon landing at second or third base. It’s a big secret, this thing. One of the biggest perpetrators, Bregman, won’t say anything when asked about it.

Asked about that hand motion again, Bregman smiles and quips, “We gotta keep it top secret.”
