"Given the schedule?" You think our schedule is soft?

BYU - at neutral site
at Florida
Auburn
at Ole Miss
at Alabama
Arky
at Tennessee
A&M

No not soft but we should beat BYU, Arky, A&M and Auburn all home games and we are better than those teams "BYU is a defacto home game" Bama is probably a loss and UF will be tough in the swamp. But Tenn is a freaking mess and the butch jones hot seat rumors will be a huge distraction if they stumble at all. So of the teams you named it looks like a pretty favorable schedule for us.

You pumpers are really unbelievable. It's OK for coach O to have 7-5/8/4 season, but Les' average of 10 wins per season was horrible. If averaging 10 wins per season was enough to fire Les, then you pumpers should expect AT LEAST 11 WINS PER SEASON NOW THAT WE HAVE A GREAT COACH.

I think it'll all depend on coordinator and QB. If those two come together for us, I could see us only losing a game or two. If they don't, 9-3 sounds about right. SEC is going to be weak next year from the looks of it.

If you do your homework,we are losing 19 SR Plus key JR that will be leaving. Our schedule will be very tough lots of key road games. Not making excuses so soon but let's be real. I sure O will get all the blame but that's jus not going to be fair

9 wins.

BYU is respectable but shouldn't be able to beat us. The other three OOC opponents are cupcakes.

We own State, so we should start 5-0. The SEC as a whole is down, so 9 wins just means going 4-3 down the stretch. We should be able to take four games against Ole Miss, Arkansas, Auburn, A&M, Tennessee, and Florida.

8-4 would be a disappointment. 6-6 should be a fireable offense. For Alleva first.

8-4/4-4. Losses to Bama, Florida, Auburn and Tennessee. That ain't what I want, but that's what I expect.

With a tough SEC road slate next season, including at Alabama, Florida and Tennessee, I think 9-3 is a realistic goal. We are losing a lot on defense (Beckwith, J. Adams, T. White, D. Riley and maybe Godchaux) and we will be thin at linebacker. Now if the LSU staff finishes the recruiting cycle with a bang and Coach O makes a homerun hire for OC, anything is possible. But I see us going no better than 9-3, all things being equal.

We need discipline, heart and leadership. And just a tad more of each. Every game LSU lost this year was bs and could have easily been won if not for a few isolated things. Yeah that makes football.

I think we do 10-2 at worst.same as Miles. Hopefully with some balls and dignity.

Optimistically, 9-3.

Realistically, 8-4.

I honestly see a Mike Archer type first year. 10-2 and a New Years 6 bowl. It's 2018 and beyond that worries me.

9-3 to me would be ok. With all that we are losing.

Obviously LSU will drop at least three games.

Should be about the same as this year.

Coach O will likely never break 9 wins, IMHO.

?????? How am I being a pumper? You confuse me I answered the question. I wanted miles fired and I wanted this "great job" to be addressed thourougly instead of hiring the jolly Cajun giant after one coach told us no. This administration made it clear where they think the program belongs nationally and it's not top 10. Those fricking idiots have no clue what they're doing and now we're paying for it, welcome to the 90's.

100% agree... his energy that makes him an effective interim coach will still be there, so next year should be his best year of them all.. So I expect at minimum 10 wins, because he wont come close to that after next year.. thats the worst part of the hire.. we have a ignorant fan base and they will fall in love with him next year when he does win 10 games.. then 2018 will be bad when you lose both coordinators and fans will blame the new coordinators and not Oregeron.. it sucks, I can already see it happening.. Just wish I could see next weeks lottery numbers just as clear...

8-4/9-3

- We lose a shite ton of talent on our 2 deep.

- Auburn will be better and Ole Miss will be better, and we are on the road vs them. Bama is Bama, and we go to Florida where we always play them as equals. We also play @ Tennessee AFTER Bama and Arky.

- If we don't make the right OC hire, and starting QB selection, pray to everything that Guice stays healthy. Now that Fournette is hurt, Guice is the best RB in college football by far. While I like possible recruit Akers, and the one we have committed, Helaire, they, nor the guys we have on roster, come close to matching Guice or Fournette.

Like a said, with the right OC hire and starting QB selected, things can change, but until that happens, get ready for the same old same old.
