I have been told that tics can be found at face value around the gate right before game time. Never have tried this before so don't know what to expect. anyone know?

about 90% of posters will tell you you will have to pay $200 for a ticket. they've never bought tickets outside of TS before. Or, they are stupid for paying that price.

It really depends on what happens with the games (for both teams) before that. That will be the biggest factor!

The theory of finding "leftover" tickets @ the gate is pretty common for the lesser games, but not a big-time nationally watched event like LSU/Florida.

You never know though...93000 seats = 93000 possiblities!

If both teams are unbeaten headed into the weekend, your chances of getting anything under $150 will be slim.

You can get them cheaper if you are patient and are willing to accept the possibility of not going. The closer to game time the cheaper they get. I heard they were going for $150ish the day of but the price fell a lot right around kickoff.

I live 4 hours away and don't get to go to that many games so $150.00 a tic would be reasonable to me for a game like this

I paid $125 for one at about 6:15 in '07. And it was a pretty good seat. The chances of finding one are 100%. The chances of it being for face value is right around 0, though.

If you wait close to kickoff, the scalpers get antsy and don't want to be stuck holding tickets so you can get them cheaper. You can find them before the game for probably btw face value-$80 15 mnins to kickoff

I was able to get a UGA '03 ticket at face value outside of TS and that was a HUGE GAME at the time. IMO only thing comparable UF '07.

That was ONE ticket though. It is a lot easier to get a single outside of TS then a pair.

Sometimes you luck up. I was able to get Georgia 03 at face value right outside of the stadium from some Georgia fans. In, 2007, I had to spend about 150 a ticket for Florida.

But it all depends on what the teams do before then. LSU/Georgia prices were going through the roof preseason last year, but as the game neared, it was no problem at all to find a ticket at a good price.

Just befriend all drunkards and tell them to give you their tickets, and make sure they keep drinking, I know there'll be plenty who are either too gone or having too much fun to make into the stadium

There's allways someone that gets too drunk and decides to sell their ticket right before game time instead of going in. If you're in the right spot at the right time, it's possible. More than likely a professional will buy it from them at face value and sell it to you for $200 bucks.

The last four years I have always purchased my tickets at the stadium an hour before the game and usually pay face value; however, two years ago for the Florida game, I could not find a ticket and ended up at a bar watching it.

the first fake tickets at a LSU home game were the ones sold at the last FLORIDA game, take a chance and you might get a real ticket for a hundred, but buy it from someone that will walk in the game with you, not someone who will ride into the sunset

I have a cousin that has bought tickets outside the stadium for 10 years now. he paid $100 maybe once or twice. all of the other times it was face value or lower. and its always been sideline seats in the bowl.

I hate those guys. They have a "Need Tickets" sign in one hand and tickets raised in the other.

Me to. When I was young, when my dad would take me to a game, buying tickets outside of the stadium was the only way we could get in. Those scalper used to piss me off.

Some of my inner childhood anger came out and and threw a cup full of coke at one of them as we drove by him two years ago.
