I remember an announcer of either a broadcast of a game or a highlight show starting out a broadcast saying "LAMBEAU FIELD" in dramatic tones. But I can't for the life of me remember who did it not I can I find it searching the net.

I figure it was likely someone like Chris Berman or Howard Cosell or maybe the NFL Films guy.

Anyone remember this and who it was?

No. I don't think it was that one. It just started out with the words "LAMBEAU FIELD" said in a dramatic drawn out way.

I "remember" that too, but I'm not sure if it really happened or maybe it was a comedian or someone imitating the NFL Films guy.

Wikipedia says: Probably one of the best-remembered (and most frequently-quoted) examples of Facenda's NFL Films narration is something he never actually said: "the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field" was a quote sportscaster Chris Berman made up, mimicking Facenda's voice when he said it.

I hear it in my head as Keith Jackson's voice.

Followed by some "Whoa Nelly"s.
