frick me.. Well, my point still stands. Our DH, the guy that has one job, and he's not very good at it. Mainieri moved him to the 9 hole, and this isn't one of those "we like him there because he's like another leadoff hitter." Bottom line is, if Coomes isn't going to play 1B, he needs to DH. If you need a pinch hitter, use Beau or whoever else.

I don't think anybody would be furious if Coomes was DHing. I can't tell you exactly why CPM doesnt do it, but I'm sure he has his reasons. He's more than earned the right to make that decision. Its not like we are leaving Barry Bonds on the bench.
