it kills that if we can get through this guy, they have no idea what they are gonna do for a pitcher. We are making this guy look like Aaron Frickin Nola out there

The strategy:

CPM: "Hey Andy, what's the conventional approach when a team is running out of arms?"
Andy: "Take pitches and work the count. Get into their bullpen by any means necessary. Why do you ask?"
CPM: "We're going to do the exact opposite of that! Tell the boys to hack away! They won't know what hit them!!!!"

What do you expect when all the hitters look like they weigh about a buck fifty?

I think patience at the plate was brought by Andy. CPM, not so much.

Which are you seeing so far today?

ETA: Or do you have another explanation of why the approach is completely different than what they've done all year? You think CPM is letting Cannizzaro overrule him?

We need to work the counts. Quit swinging at the first pitch and maybe catch a few breaks.
Plenty game to go. Here comes the runs!!!

Hitters aren't hitting, but the ump calls some strange looking strikes.

I don't think anything. I just find that logic interesting. Andy seems to be untouchable here

You must not watch much postseason baseball. This isn't the first time LSU has gone "unconventional" in an elimination game.
