Western Kentucky game: trap game of the millennium?

Hear me out. Western Kentucky may have the name of a directional school but is the farthest thing from a cupcake.
Reasons to be concerned:
-Coming off bye weekend (sort of, their game was on Thurs)
-Ranked 32nd in the country per Don Best Vegas Power Rankings.
-Arguably the best passing offense in the country, they are Top 3 in YPG, YPA, and Rating
-QB Brandon Doughty is a 6th yr senior that is on several awards watch lists and will likely sneak into the NFL draft in the later rounds. He's 74%, 24-4 TD-INT on the season, and is going to break 5,000 yards this year.
-They have an explosive former WR turned TE named Tyler Higbee that will also likely be drafted
-Already upset Vanderbilt on the road in their first game of the season
-Are 5-1 and kicked all their cupcakes' asses
-LSU is coming off a classic Saturday Night victory and is looking forward to a contest with Bama in Tuscaloosa
We are still going to beat these guys, but I'm willing to bet they give us a better game than South Carolina and Auburn, for instance. It will be actually the biggest test of our secondary this season so far. The good news is they have terrible pass defense to complement their pass offense, possibly the worst in the country, so it should give Harris a chance to get some reps in if Miles will let it happen.

Most knowledgeable LSU fans know how good WKU is. Should be a strong test for our pass defense.

It would be if everyone wasn't saying it's a trap game. I could possibly see our team coming out with less than ideal energy to start the game off but nobody is overlooking this team

You have WAY over thought this game. This team barely beat LaTech, we just punished Florida. We will win big. It may be close early, but not for long.

It's not a trap game if you know there good. Ranking mean nothing.

They are not coming out of a bye week

Only a trap game for the casual fans.
Les Miles and the team already know they need to take this team seriously.

so many people have been saying that WKU is underrated its now to the point where they are vastly overrated

Yeah, misstated. They didn't play this weekend but played Thursday.

They barely beat vandy and LA tech and lost to Indiana. They may hang around for a qtr or so and they may score but our oline and RBs will punish their d and wear them down. Won't be close...

This is the def of a trap game. Tigers have to come out ready or it will have a battle. I love how fans say this is going to be easy. They don't know shite....80 percent of fans are dumb as shite when it comes to this game.

Maybe, but I haven't seen much reference to them on here (although I don't really read the Rant too much). It's time to educate the general public so they can be emotionally prepared for their Negatiger threads next Sunday morning.

We barely beat 'Cuse and struggled with E. Mich in the first half. WKU is better than Cuse, E. Mich, and Auburn. It'll be closer than you expect.

WKU is a quality team but it is a favorable matchup. They're defense is incredibly weak overall and one of the worst against the run. It's going to be a ground and pound type of game.

If we come out and don't try to pass to set up and the run and stick to the usual and don't get cute, won't be close

Ehh, our oline is the best I've seen under Miles. We pushed around one of the best defenses in the country.
