but the fanbase is ecstatic.
Politics are once again rearing their ugly head and we can't hire and fire a coach no longer competitive in the conference cause it might look "mean" or be "poor timing".
We're down the rabbit hole.
The only way out is if Les does the honorable thing for the program and retires.

An unranked team that finished their season 1-3 carried it's coach off the field. We celebrated thus season in epic fashion. That's what LSU football has come to.

This is like Tin Cup holing out after hitting it in the water a dozen times. For some reason, people are happy after witnessing a train wreck. I don't get it. Bad night for LSU.

Really a good point. Top 10 recruiting classes every year and we are not even a top 25 team. If that don't tell you coaching is a problem then nothing will

You lousy so called LSU fans who wanted Les fired, why don't you go talk to the Texas Longhorn fans that were just like you two years ago and "just knew" firing Mack Brown would make Texas better. Ask them how they enjoyed 5-7 last year and 4-8 after they lose to Baylor this year!
