Arkansas to lose. Auburn to take two of 3 from State. And then to win those two series.

I think it's 4. At least it was last year.

Two teams you have yet to play so essentially LSU controls their own destiny.

Essentially, no they don't.

"Destiny" is defined as "the events that will necessarily happen to a particular person or thing in the future.

Sample use: "She was unable to control her destiny"

So do any of us actually "control" something that is necessarily going to happen?

Alternate definition of "destiny: "a common moniker for a trashy girl who takes off her clothes in the name of profit"

Sample use: "Ok fellas, put your hands together and get those Benjamins ready on the main stage for Destiny"

That definition doesn't apply here though.

I'm just fricking with ya....LSU basically has it all in front of them. 2 games left against a crappy Alabama team and two series with teams that I really think have been playing over their heads in Auburn and Miss State. 18-19 wins is very doable..and that could win the division.

A sweep of head coaches would do wonders. Football and basketball coaches have already been shown the door.

I'm guessing 18. You'd have to sweep then win the 3 remaining series for 19.

You don't have make everything an argument haha. Worst than my wife. Sometimes you could understand that things are said in jest and not meant to be taking literally.

I would take 18., but would love 19.

The last 3 years, we have won 19, 21, and 17...so 19 would be legit, all things considered.

Not quite, sweeping them both puts us ahead of Auburn and tied with
State and we would have the tiebreaker, but someone would have to beat Arkansas. This is an impossible senerio since
it's unlikely anyone runs the table. However this is almost exactly where we
were in 08 when we came from way back by sweeping the last 4 sec series

doesn't 19-21 wins almost always win the conference? hell, we'd probably win the conference

it would be pretty incredible, but it's doable. half of state's pitching staff is in the ER. Andy is just a badass. Auburn is beatable too

Top 4 teams get a bye and start with double elimination play on Wednesday. #1 seed and #2 seed are division winners. Rest of teams are seeded by winning percentage regardless of division. LINK

18 is very doable.

It's not the way Mississippi St. is playing it's just the flat lack of depth on their pitching staff that is going to catch up to them in tournament and regional play if a starter has a bad day.

Auburn has been playing lights out but Mize has seen arm soreness since last week. They say he's ready to go this weekend against the bulldogs however.

These last 4 weekends are going to be unbelievable with how tight the SEC WEST is, really there is no point in mapping out scenarios anything can happen.
