Chip Kelly's hurry up offense would give Saban an ulcer

Is a defensive guy, and is hands off when it comes to offense. He will hire coordinators and let them do their jobs. Patterson would kill it here, if we decide to go that route.

I don't think Peterson is going anywhere (His salary at TCU is pretty legit=Oil money). But if he did go somewhere I'm pretty sure he would bring his OC Doug Meacham with him.

ask again, would Miles even WANT to stay after this crappy two weeks?

Would you quit a job that guaranteed you 15 million dollars over pride?!

I think Miles understands that when you don't meet expectations, there can be repercussions.

He knows Alleva has a job to do just like him.

Normal people NO. Miles? Who knows. lol I'm assuming NO but it'd suck to have to work with your boss who you know wanted you out.

I don't know shite ... but in my little "ideal LSU football world" he'd stay, hire new coordinators, give the OC control and just "manage" ... again, I'm just a wife/mother who enjoys LSU football WAY too much. Thank goodness though that I've come to learn at some point during Miles' tenure that life > football, even LSU football!

And what worries me is that the grass isn't always greener. I was a student during Archer/Curly and then season ticket holder under Dinardo. I remember those crappy days. Except for beating Florida in 1997. THAT was a great day!

The deal is I'm not entirely against keeping Miles. But I also think getting Jimbo will be a tall order. Especially with his agent being Jimmy Sexton. If Miles does get fired I think we end up with our 2nd or 3rd choice. Whoever that could be.

I lived through the same eras and have the same concerns. Some of the posters here have never known anything but success for LSU and have no idea what hiring the wrong coach can do.
I remember years with Hallman where you could walk up to the stadium on game day a pick up a free ticket that someone left on a garbage can because he couldn't sell it!

Hope Mullen doesn't teach players to step on opponents.

We had friends that bought season tickets during "those days" ... I remember her telling me that the available seats had "tags" on them in TS and you could walk around, sit and check out the view. They had the pick of the litter so to speak.
