I think this is a little misleading.
May be wrong, but I think it shows that LSU would the third lowest underdog to Alabama on a neutral field. This is partly based on playing them tight for three quarters and that physically LSU is close to Alabama.
But as we all know, football is not transitive and I don't think LSU would be favored over Michigan or Clemson.

Honestly this is how the playoffs should be determined. Vegas's only motivation is $$, They would put the best 4 teams in more often than not.
