For those who would complain about the heat last Saturday.

'03 UGA (85 degF, 55% RH)
'12 UF (86 degF, 65 % RH)
'13 UF (85 degF, ? RH, (DP 70 degF on WWLTV site))

Two takeaways:
1) The weather in Gainesville last year was similar to last weekend in Red Stick. Both hot but nothing out-of-family.
2) The weather in '03 vs UGA was similar to last weekend. That crowd is perhaps the all-time best day game crowd in TS history.

Temp of 85 and dew point of 70 means that it was about 60% relative humidity.

I know. Should've mentioned that the temps/RH were taken from the LSU SportsNet site box scores (assume they are at KO). I didn't see a RH for last Sat but recalled the DP from the WWL site last Sat afternoon when checking the radars.

03 UGA game - it was cloudy the entire game.

The UF game last Saturday was only hot during the first half when the sun was out. We were dripping sweat in the east upper deck, but we did ok with water and those frozen minute maid lemonades. Tons of women and kids stayed in the shade in the concourses during the game.

The clouds blocking the sun during the second half made the second half much more enjoyable.

Well you go to the A&M game and be sure to scream as loud as you can when A&M has the ball so you can help stop JM.

Yeah I was at all three of those games. There's no way Ga 03. Or Gainsville last year where anywhere near as hot as Saturday first half. It was so hot on the north and east sides. The sun was scorching hot. I literally had trouble with my binoculars being almost too hot to hold. At halftime the concourses in the north end zone looked like a MASH unit. People were laying out everywhere and the stretcher crew was shoving people out the way they were so busy.

I'd rank this as top 3 worst day games ever. With the Mississippi state early kickoff game some years back and the Aggie day game in early September I guess 12-15 years ago.

Tennessee game after Katrina was worst I've ever been to. First half of this game was miserable though.

Also, I believe you could bring in your own water in sealed bottles in 2003.

Good thing it's not hot on the field for the players.

It wasn't worse than the App State game that was pushed to 10am or something like that. Absolutely miserable.

Yeah I think that's the worst game I can remember.

Absolutely not. However the attendance in Tiger Stadium was sad no matter what the reason was.

That App St game was definitely awful. Hot, Humid, and the glare of the sun made that almost unbearable. My buddy and I left in the 3rd after it was well in hand.

this is why tradition has it that home games are played at night, No Sunlight and temp much cooler. some day the fans will revolt and take the schedule back to where it should be night home games.

I was there and recall nothing about the temp/weather.

I was at Tennessee/Katrina on that Monday, and I remember being the most miserable ever in a stadium. I started going to games in '83 BTW.
