Wondering if any other school has had more. Ones that come to mind are:

'03 ULM - 39 minute delay in 1st qtr. Confirmed here. (Thanks lesgeaux and Panther)
'04 Oregon State - KO delayed by lightning
'05 ASU - site moved to AZ due to hurricanes
'05 North TX - rescheduled due to hurricanes
'05 UTenn - game. moved to Monday due to hurricanes
'06 State - delayed by lightning
'06 Fresno St. - delayed by lightning
'08 Appalachian State - KO moved to 10 AM due to approaching Gustav
'08 Troy - moved from 9/6 to 11/15 due to Gustav (Thanks Boat)
'13 UAB - KO delayed by lightning
'15 McNeese - game stopped and then cancelled for lightning
'15 USCe - game site moved to TS
'16 South Alabama/UF - one game cancelled: one game site moved

Edited to update. Thanks everyone for all the corrections.
'03 Auburn - KO delayed by lightning (I don't think KO was delayed. Bad memory on my part. As someone mentioned weather may have shortened pre-game.)

Everyone has weather delays dude. But we have had a lot more weird weather related issues than other schools it seems.

This is what occurs when you're in a hurricane hot zone playing games at peak hurricane season.

It's seems that ever since Katrina LSU has very few seasons when at least one game wasn't affected.

wasn't the opening game against ULM delayed due to weather in 2003 too?

ETA: or we started the game then had a break in action cause of lightning maybe...

Cant believe you included games delayed by lightning.

That happens all the time at the beginning of football season at schools across the entire southeast. Now as far as other cancellations/postponements you may be right.

Last Twenty Years

It is more impressive(in a bad way) and accurate to change the title to "-Last Fifteen Years."

Rounded up to a better number from 14 of course

ETA: We beat the snot out of the Miami Hurricanes in the 2005 Peach Bowl. That was the same year Hurricane Katrina hit us, and then Rita, Ike, Gustav, and 500 year flood etc. Coincidence?

Retaliation? HMMMM

There's a North Texas game that got moved somewhere along the way also.

ETA:
Sep 3, 2005 North Texas game, rescheduled to Oct 29, 2005 due to Katrina.

First THREE games of 2005 impacted due to Katrina/Rita.

FIFY..

I'm interested to know if anyone has as many cancellations as LSU.

We're probably looking right down the barrel of our 3rd in 3 years. I don't think they'll try hard since it's non-conference.

I don't know of any other teams that had any cancellations recently. Let alone 3(or 2).
I remember hearing, after McNeese, that the last time a LSU game was actually cancelled was because of a little something called World War II.
So I doubt it's common.

That whole season has got to be the most miserable in recent memory for the fans as far as the weather was concerned for every home game with the rain, or the cold, or in one particular case, both.

I was at this game, but I don't recall that.

You sure you're not thinking of ULM earlier in the year?
