I know Pastner personally and he's about as standup of an individual as you can have. I would have no issue with him as the new head coach. He's a great recruiter and motivator, and isn't afraid/too stubborn to surround himself with solid assistants. And frankly, which way did anyone outside of Memphis think they were going when Calipari left?

Realistically, if Cal stays at UK another 10 years, I think they will win probably 5 more championships.

I'd be down for Scott Drew, if he could pull a Baylor over here I'd be pleased

No, absolutely not. I do not want Scott Drew. I think there are plenty of other good names out there: Pastner, Gregg Marshall, Floyd, etc. Drew is dirty, real dirty. I don't understand why people seem to be fine with that. Maybe honesty and integrity are something I value more than most, seemingly. Yes he has gotten to 2 Elite 8's and all, but I don't want to see LSU have a blackeye when it's all said and done with Drew being the coach. I'm surprised the sentiment has been this unanimous on the Drew train tbh.

Scott Drew doesn't develop his talent. He was loaded this year. Perry Jones should've been first team AA with his ability. Scott Drew isn't a good coach, plus he is dirty. He isn't leaving Baylor. He has a stacked recruiting class coming in next year.

Pastner would be great. He has tons of connections with recruiting. That's my vote. I would take Tim Floyd as well. He has NBA experience = recruiting.

I am glad we don't have the owl anymore. He was terrible. Lopez twins put him on the map...we got suckered in the hype. (I never did though)
