There were numerous solutions given to have this game played this week and they did not comply. Why should we even think about giving up a home game on Nov. 19th and traveling to Florida? That would give us 3 SEC road games in a row. Florida didn't want to travel to BR for the same reason. Our schedule should not be compromised for the stupidity of the SEC's decision.

I don't want to play them.

I want the worst possible thing to happen. I want the Tennessee/Florida fiasco to play out and have Florida go the SECCG due to them not playing us.

Would be tremendous.

So you don't want to play in the SEC title game? If we win out we are NOT playing in the title game unless we play the Florida game and beat them. The Florida game MUST be played. If the only way we can play them is we have to cancel a meaningless non conference home game, so be it. Stop being stupid.

This.

LSU bent over backwards to avoid this happening. Given that we offered to more or less pay for the game on the original weekend, there is no way in hell we should have to pay out $1.5 million to South Alabama and lose > $3 million in home game revenue.

Has the whole country forgotten about the flooding that happened here in August? We have every fricking right to keep that money and not fully supplicate ourselves to Florida and the SEC just because they don't have their shite together.

frick Florida, those pussies. frick the SEC.

This is spot on. Bad spot for LSU but it is the reality we are stuck with.

The game is going to happen one way or another, it is just a matter of who if affects the most. My guess is that somehow, someway, we are going to get the short end of this stick.

Would you want Bama going to the SEC CG due to us not playing UF as well?

Sure, I'd be fine with that. They're probably ending up there anyway.

If they can't come up with a fair way to where LSU will not get screwed then Fla should be forced to forfeit. Why in the hell should LSU be forced to suffer in any way after they went over and beyond to help get this game played ? They Shouldn't!!
Fla and Fla alone shite the bed on this to gain an advantage in their conference and no one with any power will admit this knowing it's true.So no way in hell would i play this game, let Stankey sweat this out on his own,he is the one to blame so make him agree that a forfeit is the ONLY solution to settle this sham that Fla tried to pull.

I agree. I also believe UF didn't want to play this game at any time and also that Sankey was ok with the "postponement"(cancellation) and didn't believe the shite storm that followed would happen.
