Let me fix the subject line for you:
We now have 1 scholarship TE on our team who made a SIGNIFICANT contribution.
This is no slight to Bech. I like him but I think he made a good choice to get a new start somewhere else.

Well I wish Kole luck, but seriously was he really counted on more than any of the other two, we are short on TEs but I have supreme confidence that will change in the not so far future really by signing day.

They have several coming they recruited and also offered a top tier one in transfer portal.

Because he's not a TE. He's probably 6'1" 210 (at best). There are no TEs that size who have success in the SEC. This is him standing next to Boutte...who probably isn't 6'0 tall. You think someone that size is a SEC TE?
As for the OP, LSU basically had 1 scholarship TE this season. They never threw to Cole Taylor and only used him sparingly in "jumbo" sets. LSU will be getting more TEs this offseason.

Because he's not a TE at all, he's 6'1-6'2 215 and cant line up on the line and block guys.

There will be four minimum on scholarship. Add in two freshman and a transfer. The Tigers will be fine.
