Im tired of all the complaining that other teams are holding us. The fact is that for some reason the SEC has not been calling a lot of holding calls the last 2 years. Maybe other coaches have seen this and tell their players to hold until it starts getting called. LSU has the occasional hold not called but we need to get better at this.. If they are not going to call them for holding then it needs to be equal playing field and we need to hold as well until they start throwing the flag for it. When you see a FLA player rip the LSU players undershirt over his head and there is no call then why complain to the ref?? Instead tell your players to grab their jerseys.. Then if its not called equally you have something to bitch about.

I have no problem with Urban Meyer's "Do it until they call it" strategy.

Hell, it likely won them the ball game from the TD pass to the numerous drives propped up by 1,743 offsides calls.

I agree. No one is calling holding against the LSU Dline. It's time we start holding.

Not that you should particularly give a crap what I think, but I do like your perspective. Reminds me a bit of a post-game interview with Peyton Manning after his receivers had been perpetually roughed up by the Patriots LBs and DBs during one of those early Colts/NE match-ups.

The trying to be helpful sports interviewer asked him if he was upset the refs hadn't called more defensive holding and pass interference on NE. To which Peyton replied, "Nope, I just wish our defense had done more of it too!"
