We did not play well. We were banged up. But, people love to just overlook the fact, that like it or not, Troy was a quality opponent. At season end, Troy was the Sunbelt champion and 12-2. USA Today at year end had Troy ranked 18th best team in the nation. They boasted a solid passing game. Strong in the trenches.

A running back Jordan Chunn, 191 yards against LSU, that is likely to have some success in the NFL. 26th rated back this year.

A quarterback Brandon Silvers that is more than solid. 24th of the quarterbacks coming out.

We lost to a quality football team.

I am sure our guys are working hard in the weight room and soon they will be hitting the practice field for spring practice to go to battle for us.

I love LSU football...

Cheers to the Program

Jesus Christ

Now we are convincing ourselves that this loss wasn't bad?

I am not sayin Troy wasn't a decent team but they kicked our arse all night. They were up 2-3 TD in the middle of the 4th

Its completely unacceptable. Teams jump out on other teams in the first half, I understand that. But even in the 2nd half we were embarrassed for a while

Troy lost to a 4-8 South Alabama team

lost to troy because lsu didn't follow the cliché of "next man up" when it comes to injuries.

We we're that thin on the defensive line. And what cost us the game was playing Brennan. Something all of our stupid fans wanted.

No doubt! I got hammered just for saying it wasn't an unprecedented, apocalyptic upset.

And people wonder why negativity won't go away.

You guys keep pissing on us while telling us it's raining. Troy was unbelievably bad and embarrassing.

Last year LSU was shite the first half the year. We barely almost lost to Syracuse at home, almost lost to Florida, arse was kicked vs MSU, lost to Troy at home.

It was a combination of a lot of factors, some that you pointed out. I think that game broke our 50 (or so?) home winning streak against non-conference opponents, which this very site had brought up a few days before the Troy game (jinxed it).

We were sort of due for a game like that and better that it was Troy than one of the in-state schools. If a team like ULL ever beats us in Tiger Stadium, that would be so much worse.

If we played them again without Guice, Lawrence, Key, Alexander, and Weathersby; it would be a competitive game again. Not sure why people are surprised we sucked without our best player and 4 war daddy linemen.

I’ve debunked several of these with the same join date.
It’s the same person with multiple alters.

Troy lost to USA you fricking dumbass. You know how many games South Alabama won? 3.

We lost to Troy because we are poorly coached.
