Rickdaddy, if you are satisfied with finishing in the top 15 every year, I cannot defend you. We are larger than a top 15 program. Maybe you the type of person that likes just being top 15. I am the type of fan that likes top fricking 5 with a chance of being in the playoff every year.

Jimbo will be here by late January. I know it is hard for many here to accept but it is for the best. Les had his time and that time is now passed. He will land a gig elsewhere. LSU is a program that expects to compete for SEC and NC yearly now and Les can't get that done. Time to move on.

Miles gets extraordinary amounts of money to compete for a championship every year -- just like BAMA.
He's failed to do that. And he's embarrassed the program with humiliating defeats and sloppiness you'd expect from bottom-dwelling teams.
This is a natural progression of things. You lose, you get replaced.
Miles is flying away on a golden parachute that will never allow his feet to touch the ground.

Aside from one Board guy spouting off last week, LSU has been dead silent on the whole matter. I don't think "no comment" is a horrible way to handle this. I'm sure Les has been in communication with his players and with the AD.

And besides, no one ever believes the official statements made by coaches or ADs anyway. We always assume they're full of shite so "no comment" is fine.

If we were a top 15 program he wouldn't be getting fired. This class finished 12, 13, NR and are on their way to finishing NR again.

There isn't a coach in cfb that can do this while Saban is at Bama. It's time for some of you to realize this. There isn't a program in cfb that comes close to his recruiting.
