I agree w/ the OP. Man, can you imagine how hard LSU is to game plan for now that you have ZERO idea as to whether YOUR team will be the team that has to face a dual threat QB.

Think how nightmarish it is for defenses making halftime adjustments. Lee rolls in the first half, goes 9/12 for a buck60, you make a halftime adjustment that shuts him down on the first two series of the 3rd quarter, then you roll JJ out?

LSU was already going to be a hard team to beat. Jefferson being back on the team just made it harder.

im sure theres no reason you chose 09. 10 was just as good, right?
Somebody wanted a link and I posted it. I could've given the '10 stats if asked in post.

oh I guess he did. plus 7 TDs to 10 INTs. Flynn had 21 TDs and 11 INTs
Actually JJ had 14 TDs and MF had 25 including rushing.

I don't know why you rantards rush to the defense of JJ so often.

Yes. Instead of watching the game and learning from his mistakes. He'd rather go scowl at the gatoraid cooler... Disgusted me.

i have to be fair, i started to post the clip of Flynn to Byrd to beat Auburn. Because RP is behind Miles celbrating and I was gonna say Jordan would never do that. then I was gonna link the Florida clip of Lee to Tolliver and say, "see, Jordan just pouted". but he didnt. he clearly goes over to Lee, presumably to say good job or whatever.

look, this isnt about jordan jefferson the person, its about number 9 at LSU, and the offense has been awful with him at QB. now its averaging 40ppg, and the most obvious reason why is vastly improved QB play. Like most people here, I fear that the offense will go back to what its been for 3 years and kill a very real chance for LSU to win the NC.

Well Lee is a million times better with these new coaches than he ever has been before. No reason to think JJ hasn't also improved tremendously with the new coaches. JJ gives us the ability to put the QB in motion, which we're probably going to need every now and again.

Of course Lee is still the starter - those of y'all who don't want JJ back on the team seem to be a bit insecure about that fact, but there's really no reason to be.

You rantards need to stop saying JJ Was pouting. It's just some dumb thing you rantards have made up. JJ is a team player. For the record I want lee starting.

He was sacked 9 times more than Flynn with a far less talented line

In Jefferson's final game of last season he went 10-19 for 158 yards

All summer I had to listen to how great of a game he had in the cotton bowl when it simply wasn't true. Go back and watch those 9 incompletions. Most of them were terrible throws to wide open receivers. That game wasn't about how good JJ was, it was about how bad aTm was.

As far as this season goes, which running back's hands do you want to take the ball out of to give JJ some rushes?

Has the offensive play calling been so much better this year because of a change in coaching staff, or because the bad play calls aren't available when JL is in the game? This is what scares me the most.

And last point I'd like to make, what is better for the 2012 team, JJ playing the full 2nd half of a blowout, or Mett?

A usually ignored fact. Their defensive backs were awful, and the passes he missed, as noted, were way off target, generally to wide-open receivers

Nah, I like grinding them into 8 man fronts then play action to RR or OBJ better. The problem last year was that we relied on your theory too much. Those are high risk plays because the blocking scheme is to pass block and hope JJ sees a hole open up somewhere. As we saw it didn't work as well.
