There were people open on several occasions. And 2 drives started with good gains on 1st down and a busted play on 2nd.

I'm not saying the offense is great and there aren't changes that need to be made.

So delusional if he thinks this team is close to anything. 6-6 is a best case scenario.

exactly

Harris connects on a few of those throws, sustain a few drives, defense is able to rest, Les gets more confidence in Harris and starts opening things up

that is all it takes

Man... come on. AT the end of the day, we scored only 7 points.

uh, what? We got utterly dominated, again.

Keep those blinders on, my man. I guess it makes life easier to deny that anything is wrong. I, however, choose to live in reality.

He's delusional. He honestly thinks there is nothing wrong with his power running scheme.

yeah...I know

but I'm also aware that in the world of sports, all it takes is a few different outcomes of very small things and the entire game can change

I seriously believe he has had a stroke and he has Alzheimer's.

Whatever it is, it's a combo platter of ailments upstairs.

No, Les is pretty grounded. He's just saying things to get through a rough stretch. I've noticed that even when he says stuff that makes you scratch your head the net effect is to draw fire away from his players and his coordinators. This is why his players and his coordinators love him and are so loyal to him. Les is a very thick-skinned and self-deprecating guy. Those traits serve him well. Those are some of the reasons why I think Les will still be coaching after Saban retires.

LOL...funny you calling anyone a fricktard with your constant knee jerk reactions...again, that was a very appropriate posting the other day about Texas A&M gashing Miss State's defense....probably the thread of the year. Congrats.

Believe it or not, LSU is pretty damn close on offense. IF they had a quarterback who could complete third down passes, and sustain drives, everything would change for both offense and defense. The defense needs the offense to sustain drives, given their youth up front. I expect BH to improve dramatically over the next couple games and if so you will see the offense running much more efficiently, and the team playing much better. Again, there are going to be a lot of thread bumping for all you losers that have called for LSU to go 4-8 this year.

how is this the Offense's fault?

I guess because the offense is always on the sidelines after all the 3 and outs?

Wonder how close he thinks we area on defense, because that is the problem that won't be fixed anytime soon.
