No kidding but they overachieved getting to a final four and beat multiple good teams along the way, it wasn't just a one game fluke. They beat some very good teams along the way

South Carolina got their arse whipped by a team that many thought would whip LSU's arse with the best player in women's basketball. LSU showed up though and beat the shite out of them.
