Can those of you who have experience parking at the new Baton Rouge Laberge Casino, and riding their shuttle to and from campus on game day, share your opinion on this option? What does it cost per person, is it crowded, and how long does it take to get on the bus after the game? The streets at the section of campus where we tailgate, became a paid area a few years ago, and now the parking lot by the union where we used to park is going to cost $600 per season. Not sure I want to pay that. TIA

Starts 4 hours before kickoff... It's your own deal if you decide to show up during the game rush hour.

Has anyone done this from L'Auberge? How crowded is it? Can you carry on "beverages"?

I have wondered about these shuttles as well...I would not expect getting to the game to be a problem on them, because the traffic is typically not that bad...after the game however, is a clusterfrick and it seems like you would sit on the bus for a couple of hours in traffic...

Took the shuttle from downtown for the rain games last season for the first time ever.
Sat at Lucy's on 3rd street for early drinks and eats, bringing drinks on board was no problem.
Still catch the traffic, but well worth the $10 bucks when most of the lots closed due to rain.

now, I hadn't thought of that...very good alternative when there is little free parking...

It really just depends on the game. Me and my girl have used it before where it was much faster and painless. However we rode it for the Alabama game in 2012 and we sat on river road about a mile from bright side for about an hour and a half. Getting back home is easy. They pick you up in the reserved bus lot near the RVs and the police stop traffic to let the buses out.
