Assume no significant coaching changes from either us or our opponents:

Aug. 31 GEORGIA SOUTHERN
Sept. 7 at Texas
Sept. 14 NORTHWESTERN STATE
Sept. 21 at Vanderbilt
Sept. 28 Open Date
Oct. 5 UTAH STATE
Oct. 12 FLORIDA
Oct. 19 at Mississippi State
Oct. 26 AUBURN
Nov. 2 Open Date
Nov. 9 at Alabama
Nov. 16 at Ole Miss
Nov. 23 ARKANSAS
Nov. 30 TEXAS A&M

How do you think we finish?

My prediction:

Aug. 31 GEORGIA SOUTHERN - W
Sept. 7 at Texas - W (By no means a guarantee)
Sept. 14 NORTHWESTERN STATE - W
Sept. 21 at Vanderbilt - W
Sept. 28 Open Date
Oct. 5 UTAH STATE - W
Oct. 12 FLORIDA - W
Oct. 19 at Mississippi State - L
Oct. 26 AUBURN - L
Nov. 2 Open Date
Nov. 9 at Alabama - L
Nov. 16 at Ole Miss - W
Nov. 23 ARKANSAS - W
Nov. 30 TEXAS A&M - L

What you got?

We lose to bama then 2 more games due to lack of offense or bad calls. Same outcome again.

I see us losing at Texas but beating Moo State (they're losing Fitzgerald and a bunch of seniors).

I also think we can beat Auburn in Baton Rouge.

Best case 10-2. Worst case 8-4.

Have a hard time picking a loss besides Bama. Schedule seems to set up nicely. Not sure what Texas has coming back. I think they are extremely overrated this year though.

I'll say 10-2.

I think the expectation will be 4 losses. We will lose 2 or 3 and people will call it a successful year.

That will be the norm here at LSU for the foreseeable future.

Utah State might be in top 25. Their QB is really really good and he’s only a sophomore.

So assuming you think At BAMA is a loss..you really think we go 10-1 the other 11? Seriously?

Yes. Jimbo will have had another year by then.

We owned Sumlin. We have zero evidence that we "own" Jimbo.

Aug. 31 GEORGIA SOUTHERN W
Sept. 7 at Texas Toss Up
Sept. 14 NORTHWESTERN STATE W
Sept. 21 at Vanderbilt W
Sept. 28 Open Date
Oct. 5 UTAH STATE W
Oct. 12 FLORIDA Toss Up
Oct. 19 at Mississippi State W
Oct. 26 AUBURN W
Nov. 2 Open Date
Nov. 9 at Alabama L
Nov. 16 at Ole Miss W
Nov. 23 ARKANSAS W
Nov. 30 TEXAS A&M Toss up

I see us having 8 wins for sure, 1 definite loss and 3 toss up games. I think we go 1-2 in those games with an outside shot at 2-1.

I'm thinking 9-3 with 10-2 at best.

Next year is CFP or bust. Yeah, we say this every year, but seriously...next year all the stars align.

Very manageable schedule. 17-18 returning starters. Senior QB. Elite RB duo.

11-1 should be the minimum next year.
