We were. It was our first week back in the rankings since the Auburn loss.

we were -3 on turnover differential and missed a field goal. We still won.

Shows how absolutely physically dominant we were in that game. We mauled them on the lines. Not many times you can have the aforementioned mistakes and still win, so it serves to highlight just how effective we were in the trenches.

We beat them 9/10 times That's a bit strong. Maybe 7.

You are probably correct here, but seriously, if you can control both sides of the line of scrimmage....that's most of the battle right there.....I don't see where Ole Miss would be able to magically get bigger and stronger...but 9 is a bit strong I guess....against almost any team.

Defense won this game.
And pounding their arse on that last drive. Drives like that take the soul right out of a team.

Bo should've had 3 pics too, not just that last 1.

2 missed turnovers, 4 turnovers ourselves, and an easy FG missed.

Game should have been ugly, but I'll take the W and the demoralizing last drive 95 yards down their throat.

As noted, LSU won in total yards, time of possession, first downs, yards per carry, less penalities, and the defense should have had a shutout, as LSU dropped a sure interception on the play before the black bears scored its only TD. And correct me if I am wrong, they only got in the red zone twice, the last at the end of the game.LSU's coaching staff outcoached theirs. Bottom line, LSU kicked arse & it was the black bears who were lucky ..to have not gotten beat by a lot worse.

I re-watched the game last night and my question was "how did we not win by more?" The answer of course is turnovers. Without those mistakes (and the inadvertent whistle), Ole Miss is never even in that game.

The inadvertent whistle comes about 4 yards after LF got back on his feet.

Played it over a few times and that's the only whistle I can hear as well. BS call is BS.

Simple fundamental football, the OL and DL pushed OM off the ball. Game over. Yes, should have been a blow out....by LSU.
