Watching Myles Brennan during the warmups.

I was watching the quarterbacks warm up last night and I had to check the program when I saw #15 throw to make sure it was Brennan. The kid finally looks the part. He has put on 25 pounds at least and lost that frail look he had as a freshman.
Kids mature at different ages. Some are full blown men at age 18, others still growing. Brennan is one that was not close to being physically ready as a freshman. He has benefited tremendously being in a college weight lifting program for three years now.
He looks good warming up, a quick release and a strong arm. He was one of the more accurate passers in high school. He appears to have a good work ethic and I think he thinks he gets the key to the Ferrari next year. I think he will do well, I hope so.
Who knows if he has the moxie needed to be a good qb. At least he is looking the part. The kid has done a great job transforming his body, reportedly eating six meals a day. And all the weight he put on is good weight, he looks about the same size as Burrow now.
Life isn’t fair. What I would give to eat six meals a day and not gain weight.

When he was skinny as a rail he could chunk the shite out of that ball. My concern with him is timing.

He will do just fine next year. He will have a huge set of shoes to fill and we need to do understand that.

He needs to eat in front of the VR screen and get quicker reading D schemes

the pass he threw at msst was on the money.
that thing is coming faster than burrow's throws, maybe the velocity change will be an adjustment.

Burrow is listed as 6’4” 216, Brennan 6’’4” 207. Last year there was still a noticeable difference between the two, this year not so much.
I looked at them standing next to each other last night and was surprised how similar they looked.
Just saying what it looked like to me, indeed the reason I posted it was because I was surprised how much bigger and stronger Brennan looks now compared to last year.

Don’t expect Brennan to pick up when Burrow left off. He will need 5-6 games of reps before he gets comfortable. Throwing the football won’t be the problem. He will make throws Joe can’t make.

That comes with game reps too. I'm sure he puts in the time on film study. His HS coaches raved about his game prep. I remember one of his coaches moved to BR after he committed to LSU.

Myles Brennan’s hair is going to be the biggest meme of 2020. Yellow hair and yellow uniforms make for quite the look.

He should see some reps in the Arkansas game Tigers should hang 60 on the Piggies. No doubt that CEH is one of our MVP’s along with Burrow and Chase/Jefferson but I would like to see more of our freshmen running backs. 8-0 baby, we comin

for the WRS.... ive said all along that Burrow Throws one of the most "Catchable" balls ive seen since Danny Weaurfal it makes it easy on the WR's. Burrow has a good arm but the velocity isnt the same at Brennans... Brennan has the "NFL" arm that can fit the ball in the tight window... my concern is accuracty wth him.... an obviously the biggest thing of all with QB's... The moxie... either you have it or you dont... we will see...

I think Brennan will put up some big numbers, too. He's talented and has been patient, soaking up the system. I think we will be fine with him at QB.

My main concern is his ability to withstand hard hits. He still looks fragile to me...

Well he will have no shortage of weapons that’s for sure

School. Lift. Eat. Film study. Lift.
What a life! At that age, you can’t even begin to appreciate it. LOL
