333 with 6 hrs isn't to bad considering the production we got out of lf.. he didn't start all year there either though.

And that is the bottom line- he would not have had a chance to play at LSU. Happy he had a chance to play somewhere else, I just wished he had stayed in state, instead of going to OU...

the dude can really hit. He was one of the best hitting FR during the fall of the year he got cut. Wished things could have worked out and kept him here.

You are a fricking moron. His team is still in contention because of his play in yesterdays game. Where are the tigers? I didn't think so. GTFO

Yea well. I guess they think johnny dishon was the better choice. Our lf play was BAD this year. If you think he wouldn't have contributed your an idiot

Cody Reine just homered again for OU. Three homers in the last 10 innings. Say what you want, but LSU could have used this kid this year. Power numbers were down and he is smashing the ball!

I've been to several of the intersquads and here is how i see it: There are 8 guys returning who will start Gibbs, Ochinko, Schimpf, DJ, Helenihi, Dean, Landry, Mitchell. So 1 spot is open. If we need offense Cody Reine can flat out swing it.
I don't want to toot my own horn... well nevermind yea i do. The above quote was from when Reine was in fall practice a couple years ago. I never understood why he got cut but he was one of the best hitters that fall.

LSU won the National Championship without him last year. Reine is a good player, but he would not have made a difference this year. We needed more pitching. Alex Edward and Mason Katz are every bit as good as a hitter as Reine.

Having said that, Reine had a great series this weekend. Good for him.

WTF is that shite

The kid can flat out hit the baseball. And don't let his size fool you,he is quick, just has a stocky build. Lets see, Reine in RF, the Dugas kid we didn't recruit in CF and Mahtook in LF. I'll take that any day. That could have been your outfield next year. Kid is only a Soph. Once watkins got hurt I have no doubt he would have found his way into the lineup. He has more HR's per AB than anyone on OU's roster. Allways good to see a local boy do good.
