I tried but the umpire cam was awful. Every time he moved his head the camera moves. If he looks in the dirt the camera follows. Not a good idea.

agree 100%. it was a nice idea but, i was getting sea sick. You can't really see anything from that cam.

ESPN has the line cam feed for football (whatever they call that thing over the field on cables). It's interesting sometimes, but has its problems. For example, it's sometimes moving for the next shot and you miss stuff.

i accidentally clicked on this link when trying to watch from my office yesterday and was so pissed because i thought espn was trying to be new and hip with their views. they really sucked. it was nice with just game sounds and no commentators though

They did this for college football last year (typically the Saturday night game). It is awesome for football because the camera roams right above the field and all you hear are sounds of the game and, of course, no announcers.

I really wish ESPN3 would give the option to listen to Hawthorn rather than their announcers.

They only showed the ump cam maybe 10 times for a few seconds. It wasn't THAT bad!

It was nice to hear the sounds without stupid comments.

It felt like I was there at the game.

The only really bad part was not having replays.

I like seeing replays from the different angles like you get in a normal broadcast.
