Well, what is it telling you? Is it telling you that you're blacked out?

If not, you probably don't have the credentials to watch it

If you can't watch the Longhorn Network through you Cable/Satellite provider then you can't watch on WatchESPN either. It's not going to be blackout in a different state.

Right

And he's not going to be blacked out 6 hours before the game. He's going to blacked out during the game.

He probably doesn't have credential access to the channel

If it doesn't for some reason COX offers it for 33 cents a day and others have said Direct TV has a free trial. Not sure how your watching TV.

It depends on your cable provider. If you get it there, you should get it when you login with your provider login credentials on watchespn.

You better have he upgraded sports package with DTV. I thought I had it as well and I didn’t.

WatchEspn allowed me to sign in through Hulu but blocked me from watching the current replay between Baylor and Texas.

So I would say a No Go with Hulu

Go to WatchESPN and see if you can see the Baylor/Texas men's Basketball replay playing now. If so, you are good to go. If not, then you need to plan accordingly.

It's letting me watch the Texas-Bayor replay on LHN (Watch ESPN), and has the LSU baseball game listed in upcoming events.

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

I have Charter Spectrum FWIW.
