watch espn for Directv customers

This may be Germans, but I was able to log on today with my Directv user/pass. I think roll out was yesterday. Can also get SEC network +.

People on the fence between U-verse and Dish and DTV always throw out the watch espn being a no-go for directv...I guess both apply

I'm a little late to the party on this...i have direct tv and i have apple tv setup.
how does one get to secn+ to watch the games?

Go to appletv and select the watchespn app.
Put in directv account info when asked.
Watch Tiger baseball....and other things.

SECN+ games are available through watchESPN on your apple tv.

What if you don't have an Apple TV?? Is there any way to do it on my smart tv?? I've never used my television for anything other than watching regular tv.

Either watch espn app (that is available on smart phones, apple tv, tablets, etc) or watch on the website espn3dotcom. Either way requires your cable/satellite online login to watch.

Hasnt been an issue for DTV in quite some time. Also it had nothing to do with the remote. It was the boxes.

also they are coming out with a new one that will have 8 tuners, a wireless bridge and home automation in one

Check and see if your TV manufacturer has the watch ESPN app. I have a Samsung smart TV, and I know the app is available. Or, do what I did....buy a Roku box and stream through it via the watch ESPN app.

Any more info on this. My contract is up in May. Would like to get one of these new boxes if ready by then.
