But what the hell I got Thursday and Friday off so I’m driving up to Fayetteville this week to see our slumping tigers play. Anyone ever been to Baum and sat in the hog pen area? That’s where my seats are for Thursday. Any suggestions/tips would be appreciated

Go eat at:

Wrights BBQ - great brisket
Herman’s Rib House (steak place)

Don’t worry too much about the game….. lol.
It’s still early (we hope!)

Supporting your school isn’t a waste. We might not win every game but at least you’ll be there. Always wanted to go to Baum.

Never think it’s a waste to go watch a baseball game…. They may win or lose but the food and atmosphere to watch baseball will be well worth it.

Only LSU fans would list food as a main reason that it's worth going watch a baseball game.

Hog Pen is cool. You can bring your own alcohol in a cooler in. (no glass). You’ll of course have to deal with some of the rowdier fans and students, but with it being Easter weekend you may get lucky. Get there very early to get a spot and brung a chair. It’s general admission. Or at least this is how it was before Covid.

Hog Pen is in the outfield…basically it is first come first serve and will get rowdy, just an FYI.

I live in NWA and can confirm Wrights is a great place to get BBQ. I would recommend you go to Rogers/Bentonville to stay and eat your meals. Fayetteville is good, but is still a college town.

The downtown areas in both Rogers and Bentonville have undergone significant improvement over the last few years.

I’ll be there also! Still working on tickets. Considered the hog pen, but probably not the best idea with two small kids (4 and 7).

You'd probably do better going to see our gymnastics team compete.

It's never a waste of time to get to see any Tiger team play.
All the positives out weigh the negatives.
BTW I believe our Tigers will atleast win one and have a good chance of winning 2 and the series.
