Ability wise, probably so.

Everyone of them played NFL football at some point

From a depth perspective? Yes. Guice and Fournette will both be all pros though.

But people on Facebook comments told me that Fournette is injury prone and won't last 2 years in the league smh

If you are talking about depth, than yes. The 6th string RB that year was Terrance Magee. and he was pretty good.
Fournette and Guice are the most talented 1-2 punch we've ever seen though - which is saying a lot because LSU has had great rb's for a long time.

Dalton/James Gang because they were utilized as good as any 2 backs in LSU History.

Hilliard and James for me
Neither had an ego problem. Total team players and would have never sat out at any cost!

Only problem with James was that he never saw a block he didn't totally whiff or just outright duck on.

I know they're not the best but I used to love the 1-2 Punch of Domanic Davis and Big Toe Labrandon Toefield as a kid!

plus, we could actually complete passes so the defense didn't sell out to stop the run all he time. also, teams played more zone in their defensive backfield back in that day. man to man was considered too risky. the SEC didn't have the DB's they have now. we can thank steve spurrier for pointing out the need for nfl type db's
