Does anyone feel like if we were going to name the court, it should have been after Sue Gunter?

She definitely did more with Less. No coach has ever not won a championship with the level of talent Dale Brown had.

She did make it to the Sweet 16 or higher 7 times. That’s pretty good stuff.

Sue Gunter was NOT a good HC at LSU. AD forced her to hire Bob Starkey to train her girls. Pokey did the recruiting. Everyone liked Sue Gunter, but she was an ineffective HC.

And that’s all it’ll ever be in this damn state. Everything is political. Skip Bertman is the only coach who deserves to have a field named after him. Pete Maravich Assembly Center is the only name that needs to be there, not Dale Brown court. He was a good coach, but not good enough to have a court named after him. Honestly, he underachieved in his time here.

You could tell by Wade’s press conference answer that he absolutely loathes Dale Brown.
