He actually made a decent point when talking about playoffs;

"My concern with the playoff is that we would minimize the bowl games and the importance of those games to all of those other players....coaches who've won 9 games and averaged 9.5 games over 15 years lose their job....based on what standard?"

I know that Les got the gallows reprieve but is that the situation to which NS is referring?

NS sees LSU as an easy win as long as Less is there.

He was likely talking about Richt but same would have applied to Miles had he been fired.

...ahhh, makes sense. I thought Les's numbers are somewhere around there too.

You are kidding, right? Sabah wouldn't even see a high school Junior Varsity team as an easy win. That's why he's where he is.

He doesn't want to see a good COACH at LSU with the talent available.

He made a point that suits his interests. Of course he would like all the coaches who can't beat him to keep jobs in his conference. Who wouldn't?

It was Richt. Of course Nick loves Les and Richt and hates to see them go. He owns them.

You are joking, right? Your thinking shows me that you are not very competitive. Real competitors want to take on the best. Saban is a competitor.

Exactly. Crybaby over no huddle/up tempo, starts using it to some degree the very next year. This guy speaks on whatever helps him.

He beat Richt in 2012 in their best shot for a national championship since 2008 where he beat the shite out of him in the "funeral" game. He beat the shite out of him this year again on the road and in Georgia when they had Nick Chubb.

He's beat Les Miles 5 straight times and beat the shite out of him 3 of those 5 times. One was for the national championship in 2011 where we hadn't come close to since 2007 and haven't come close again.

Don't listen to the shite out of Saban's mouth. It's a back handed compliment at best.

He was referencing Mark Richt I do believe according to the figures he used. Miles is 10.2 wins for 11 seasons.
