There is no ugly win at Memorial, a win is a win... Screw that damn gym, I hate that place

LSU has always had a very hard time @Vandy. Solid win. I'll take a double double every night out of martin. He is what he is... He is no Dennis Rodman.

Not exactly a magical discovery you're making. SOME people want them to get better this year AND be on the team next year. Not really a shock.

Martin plays more minutes in the nation that just about anybody. He is one of those guys that is so smooth, he looks like he is not putting out effort as opposed to say Quarterman and Hornsby for example. Patterson has the same type of vibe as Martin to me. Maybe I'm crazy, but I think it is the facial expressions and the body motions that are less exacerbated. Probably just me though

ery disappointed in J. Martin. Very slow, and did not have a lot of defensive efforts

While I agree that he needs to improve on D, Martin (as well as Mickey) can't do too much out there defensively just so they can stay out of foul trouble. We need them on the floor as much as possible. You saw how the refs called the game last night.

was the No.1 reason the big white boy for Vandy didn't score once in the 2nd half.

He scored 4 points in the 2nd

Martin is also the reason he scored 18 in the 1st half

Jarell Martin had 19 points, 12 rebounds, and was the No.1 reason the big white boy for Vandy didn't score once in the 2nd half. Shut the frick up.

You are wasting your time. Some of these guys were All Pro when in High School. They are never going to be satisfied with anyone less than Karl Malone or MJ.
Martin, Hornsby, and Quarterman have done their part in every game that I have seen. Mickey has gotten in foul a couple of games but he does his thing also.

And an opinion I agree with Phil.

There was a station at the Dixie basketball camp when I went back 30 years ago on passing. An excellent tutorial that I would suggest LSU work into their practices. Because it's hard to imagine kids at this level seem to have so poor a fundamental concept of passing the ball.
