I share these sentiments exactly. You gotta break an egg to make an omelette, and right now that egg is Les Miles.

I know I've reached this point when a friend asked me yesterday if I planned to go the the JSU game this weekend, and my response was no. Not because I have anything better to do, just because the pros of going don't outweigh the cost.

I want whatever has to happen in order for Les to fired to happen. I'd rather be shitty this year and get a coach to move forward with that can be great rather than settle for simply good for as long as Miles wants to hang around.

Well unless LSU goes 7-5 he will be here next year. 8-4 with a bowl win and he will still be here next year... Do I agree?????? Hell no... But that's the way it is......

Exactly why I wish LSU would loose every game until he's fired. Would it be fun? Absolutely not. But I would take that if it meant us getting a Herman or Jimbo.

Would you rather LSU let Miles stay around as long as he wants and we go the route of Texas and Mack Brown? Texas, with all of its resources, is struggling to recover because Mack stayed around too long. Do you honestly think LSU would be able to do what Texas can't??

This thread is about wanting the LSU football team to lose. It's pretty obvious.

And it's obvious to everyone else that the reason why we want LSU to lose is so Les Miles will be fired.

Are you fricking dense?

I used to do battle with Choctaw way back when. And I proved to be correct about Miles and everything he's defended has been wrong. Choctaw cannot give any real statistical factual reasons to keep Miles, but he's infatuated with the man and clearly lacks the ability to think. Anyone who has been wrong this long should take a step back and re-evaluate which 99% of the fan base has. And then there is Choctaw. Wrong and still spewing absurdity.

It's hard to root for LSU to lose. But, there'd be nothing worse than a 8-10 win season where LSU doesn't compete for anything but keeps Les. Since it's clear Les isn't going to turn the offense around, the only chance of competing next year is with a new coach.

Nah we should just watch a slow train wreck of program suffocating proportions.

Do you want to become Texas?

If so you should never again refer to yourself as a LSU fan.

If LSU loses and Miles is fired than so be it....but I'm not going to hope for them to lose. That's just fricking retarded. That's like hoping your kid gets his arse kicked every week in school because you hate the the teacher and that's the only way they can be fired.

Is there a way for Miles to "lose" but LSU to win???

Maybe falling way behind JSU and barely pulling out a win?

Said just like somebody who lives in Arizona and who didn't pay 2k for season tickets.

I'm looking at my ticket package booklet across my desk, thinking about that hopelessly moribund offense and asking myself how I was so stupid again?

If Miles really cares about LSU, at least more than his own ego, and his heart isn't really in it (as many suspect) he will work a deal to resign that will allow him to name the interim coach. Hopefully that's not his college buddy Cam.

Then we won't have this quandary of knowing what has to happen, and how to get to that point. As a fan, it does suck. As a fan, alum, and donor at this point I want it to suck for CLM too.

This. For the betterment of the program. I did it with Hallman and Dinardo and I'm gonna do it again.

If LSU losing every game gets rid of les miles and brings in Tom Hermann, I'm roofing for LSU to lose every game.
