Heading to the LSU/Auburn game on Saturday from Florida with my two boys, 25 and 20. We would like to experience the tailgating, band and team walking in. Any suggestions, including parking?

I would suggest parking off of East State Street where there are normally several spots to park for cash. It’s super easy to exit campus parking right here after the game and a great place to start your walk.

You can grab some drinks and food at Chimes at the North Gates. Then take some drinks to go, starting your walk down Highland Rd to Dalrymple. Catch the Parade grounds a bit but mainly walk down Dalrymple into campus. The band et will meet up at the Ampitheatre. It’s a great walk and tons of tailgating. You could eventually walk over to the Indian Mounds and near the PMAC to catch the band and team come down the hill.

I’m not sure what time you’re gonna arrive. But if you parked around 11-12. That would give you plenty of time to take it all in.

I would try to park at the Paul Hebert Law Center, or near the Parker Coliseum (Cow Palace.) Walking west toward the stadium from there will take you through some tailgating. The area between the stadium and the PM Assembly center is where the player and band walk down.

Stop by Fred’s. I think barstool is gonna be there (popular with your son’s demographic) it’s also where the young ladies will be.

You could park there, but E State near chimes is better.

Unlike the Florida campus our police do not go into the opposing fans coolers and take away their alcohol. Speaking from experience
