monier- No im not, honestly it was just so much time that everything else in my life started suffering. It's definitely a huge committment. Sometimes I wish I was still there cause I had some of the best times that championship year, but it's hard to have any kind of job while on the team and staying in school academically.

To the OP - My buddy Daniel Graff walked on to the team by submitting his high school video highlights to the Athletic Office. If anything, have your high school coach put together a highlight film (if possible) and have him get in touch with someone in the Athletic Office.

If you can't send them any type of film of your football highlights then walking on will be nearly impossible. Good luck.

[quote]Andolsek posted a squat north of 700. BTW, his 500+ bench was much more impressive than Steltz's "605". Add in a power clean north of 450 and you have truly the strongest Tiger in LSU history. All of this at 6' 2.5" vs. 5'8".

Eric set the record at 880# full squat. I've seen him bench 500+ and let the bar lay on his chest removing his hands... on the beach in Daytona.

The man was a beast...and a friend. RIP Big E

I have witnessed the man do standing military press with 315 for 8 easy reps.

Big E was uncanny. He is truly a treasure of T-town. RIP

Last year I thought it was reported either Barksdale or H Johnson set the record at 700+ in the squat. Does anyone remember a report about this?

you pretty much set yourself up for all the douche bags in here to bash you. But I wish you luck dude! I played college ball in '09 after I graduated but I hurt my shoulder & had to have reconstructive surgery, I miss it everyday.. Walk on & if you don't make the team, atleast you won't live with "what if".. Geaux Tigers!
