Only 2 teams I would not pick us to win except Bama and Georgia
PEAK homerism here

People say FSU didn’t see Harold Perkins well they didn’t see Trey Benson.
trey Benson had like 6 carrie’s for 25 yards against us.
we say he we just aren’t Syracuse.

The 8 FSU Warchant writers gave a composite score of 37-26.
Which is exactly what I said on Monday here-their website "experts" see a 10-12 point victory on average. FSU fans are going more in the 21-30 point range.

i like how they named like 8 or 9 game breakers for FSU. oh well i guess we better not even play the game

Same team also had a true freshman at LT and Emery Jones hadn't cracked the starting lineup yet.
Dont forget, Josh Williams, who went for 6.6ypc in the last 5 games of the season, only had one carry against FSU.

They should go look at draft grades. One is projected to go in the top 20 picks. One is projected to go in the second round. Those are massively different grades.

Saw an On3 article breaking down the two starting LBs for FSU. Long story short, they are both very average. DeLoach is bad against the run and is a poor tackler, Bethune is stiff and can't cover.
Similar mentality as LSU, where they're looking to rely on the pass rush and defensive line to cover up deficiencies in the secondary.

I just don't see a way they hold us under 30 unless we have 2 or more turnovers or stall out in the redzone over and over again. We will put up a ton of yardage.

Sounds like they woke up, went to bed and kept dreaming.

Lol you have LSU fans saying the same thing
Yea but LSU fans have witnessed recent big wins by their team over ranked teams.
An LSU fan predicting at a double-digit win is probably thinking something like, "This game might go the same way as the other 8 times we've beaten ranked teams by double digits since Les Miles left."
FSU has ZERO such wins during that time.

Clear eyes, full heart, can't lose...
Absolutely. Our front 7 is going to give them fits. Our DL is going to win the LOS and #4 HP is going to be right there to rush or drop the QB if he pulls it down. DBs need to communicate and leverage their athletic abilities & the scheme/adjustments from Coach House. Win 3rd down. Gotta win on 3rd down.
On OFF, this should be fun. Returning QB, loaded room of RBs, WRs, and Taylor at TE. An OL that is battle tested & healthy. Fights On, Fights On!
Take that first drive right down the field. Impose your will on them and let them know this is a much DIFFERENT team than the one they saw in the dome.

We have Keon Coleman and they don’t .
People don’t realize who Keon Coleman is.
Good player, not a game breaking talent. Might have been held down by how poor Michigan State was last year but i never watched them play and thought that he was a star.

I agree, short passes and a running game will neutralize pass rushers though

I disagree

I would be shocked if LSU only scores 17. I have zero idea what the defense is going to look like but i'm pretty confident the offense is going to move the ball well.

Brian Kelly talks up his D line but i don’t see it.
This is just pure homerism. Screaming from the rooftops how good you think guys you have never seen play in a Noles uniform are going to be while ignoring an actual opinion that matters
quote:
The line with LSU being favored is strange.
Anytime you feel confident in a game and the line does not agree with you, worry.
quote:
FSU handled the LSU offense last year.
The offense was not very good the 1st quarter of the season, cant really argue with that. However as JD grew in the system and became more confident and the Oline started to gel they got much better.
quote:
LSU lost their running back and we should handle them.
Does not matter at all. LSU has a bunch of good running backs but none of them are irreplaceable at this point. Losing one just means you get to see more of another.
