More tickets were sold to LSU fans for the Rose Bowl in 2007.

little different for a game over a month out and a BCS Bowl than a game scheduled a few days prior

the 30,000 tickets were before it was even opened to the general public and that does not include students

so 30,000 tickets in a day is not bad

you know what i meant, haha. there will obviously be people who have something unforeseeable come up at the last minute, have an emergency, etc. but, it's not going to be a situation where season ticket holders who bought tickets to every game before the season decide they don't feel like going

That's about 600 right there of tickets bought and no one to sit in them. They won't sell at those prices.

anyone trying to sell tickets to a game for over face value when there are tens of thousands of unsold tickets shouldn't be allowed to reproduce

Normally this would apply, but people don't want to watch a rare super talent like Fournette run over a conference team?

Just because you post tickets at a high price doesn't necessarily mean you think that is a fair price, or they will sell. A lot of people who will go to a game will post tix at an inflated price thinking that if someone is willing to pay a high price they'll take the money - if not they still use the tix to go to the game anyways.
