This is the most uneducated take ever. It’s not 1993, 2003 or even 2013, rebuilding a roster in one offseason is expected every year at this level and “threats” of NCAA sanctions are not an excuse. Those same “threats” didn’t slow Arizona down.
Wade inherited a McNeese squad that was one of the worst in Div. 1 basketball and was facing sanctions. Yet, here he is in year 1 on a 10-game win streak and getting AP votes.
This is a tired excuse from people who simply do not understand (or want to understand) the current landscape of P5 basketball.

Nothing wrong with that, but what you can’t do is downplay any McMahon (LSU) success to prop up Wade. That makes you a Wade fan, and there are certain posters doing just that … in every post celebration any basketball success.

It amazes me how people think calling out McMahons terrible start and pointing out Mcneeses great start somehow means that person hates LSU and wants them to fail, and is somehow upset right now that the team is playing well.
All anyone wants is to support a good team. This team today looks vastly different than the one that started the season and lost to Nichols.
No LSU fan is saying to himself, man I wish they weren’t winning right now.

We had to replace the entire roster. Not just a few pieces. And with probation lingering. If Wade would have manned up instead of hiding behind lawyers and told the administration who he paid our roster wouldn’t have had to been completely turned over. He didn’t give a flying flip about LSU.

You act like LSU just beat Golden State and not Ole freaking Miss whom LSU was favored against. Nice win but chill out. Way too early to start pumping your chest out like we're headed to the Final Four.
