This letter tells me Alleva has been bombarded with negative comments.

Unless Miles wins the SEC and/or NC.

This is really a remarkable acknowledgement of discontent.

This tells me that anything less than 10 wins next year and Miles is gone.

What a dumbass and a yes man.......

quote:

Coach Miles re-tooled his defense and the Tigers ranked No. 12 in the country in scoring defense this year.

But they weren't worth a squat when they had to get a stop in the Penn St. or Ole Miss games. The 13 points they gave up to Florida was the most deceiving I've ever seen. Florida ran up and down the field on them, thus they only punted once, had 1 TO, and were basically on the field the entire game. G

Well hell, how are they going to get worse? Maybe we can crack the 90 threshold next year and have a better offense than tulane.

I don't recall where the 08 D ended up out of the 120 but I don't think it was 112th or worse.
That being the case, doesn't it beg the question of why Crowton is still employed at LSU ?

Yeah, ADs routinely issue scathing letters about its football program to the fans.

Maleveto had never had a good defense. Crowton's offense won us a NC in 2007. He's proven he can do it in the past so he's given some leeway.

He points to bringing Chavis in as a good move for improving the offense. But does not mention Crowton. I wonder if Crowton has had to agree to some changes in his play calling in order to stay. It bothers me that no one will talk about what the changes on offense need to be and who is being held accountable.

True, Les needs to hire someone else to fix the problem- Les has no clue how to fix it either.

Point taken.
I was really trying to point out the gaping hole in Joe's logic as spelled out in the letter.
I'm surprised by that.
