Does anyone sit on the first row of the stadium? Just wondering how the view is from there, bought some tickets and they wound up being on the first row in the south endzone.

Terrible.

Not as bad in the Endzone as it is on the sidelines though.

I think you look UP to the crown of the field.

You are on the ground level so if anyone on the field is standing in front of you, you cant see shite.

i sat on the 35 yard line west side second row last week....you can't see over the heads of the team!!!

this should be a better view, but be prepared to watch a lot of north end zone scoreboard!!! (at least you won't have a lot of people on the field blocking your view)

Worst seats I've ever sat in. You have to watch the entire game on the screen.

Awesome, thats what I was thinking, thanks for the replies, going to see if I cant get rid of them and find some somewhere else. Its my dad's first game and don't want it to suck.

I have sat on the first row for 20 years and love it down there you're really close to action, however there are some negatives. First you have people walking in front of you during parts of the game and second when LSU is about to score there are camera men kneeling down in front of you taking pictures and videoing.

The jumbotron is o different than sitting at home and watching it on tv, but you still get the feel of the game from those seats.

Better than upper deck tix IMO.

If you mean the view from the upper deck.

I've sat in both places.
You're watching the game from the blimp.
He'll be experiencing what the players feel on the field.

Each one is a trade off.

Yeah, no......
Bad perspective on the field. Better than sidelines though and you're in DV. That is what counts. Make noise.

From the low angle in the end zone you can watch the blocking lanes develop. Always best to be about 15 to 20 rows up, however.

Definitely not in my experience. I have been on both ends of the spectrum. 1st row was rough. I only lasted 2 and a half quarters before I had to find some friends that had empties next to them a little higher up.

Then, I have been on the very top row of the West Uppers, and it wasn't bad at all. A little removed from the atmosphere, but I enjoy actually being able to see what's happening on the field.

ETA as mentioned before, 1st row endzone isn't nearly as bad as 1st row sideline

Yall must be a bunch of short arse people. Sat on the second row several times, even behind the bench and love it. Could see over everyone just fine.

I sit in the NZ and after every game we walk out where the cheerleaders exit and have always wondered why those seats even exist. Just curious why they wouldn't have a wall there like at Ok State or Oregon where you could actually see the game.
