the consistent excitement from 2000 to 2007 will never be matched.

Consistent is the key word. The excitement from those days are matched, and possibly exceeded, these days.

The difference is that excitement is only brought for a select few games today. Back then it wasnt fully turned into a corporate event, with paid everything. Alleva really did do a lot to kill the game day atmosphere. Allevas method would only work if we were playing Bama/UGA every week. It kills the atmosphere every other week.

So a September game, #11 LSU vs #7 Georgia. That should attract lots of interest and a pretty lit student section. Kinda like this years game against Georgia did.

Also, the capacity of the stadium was 91,600 rather than 102,321 and the actual cost of tickets was lower so i think fewer people were selling big game tickets to pay for their season tickets.

I do look forward to more games where the crowd is like the Georgia and Bama games were, at least at the start for Bama.

The game ws 7-3 LSU at half, 10-3 LSU at the end of the 3rd Quarter, 10-10 with 4:46 left, and the winning score with 1:30 left in the game. That may account for no one leaving.

Those games are fun when you win, heartbreaking to lose. My heart prefers think I prefer a blowout we win, I think.

Damn....Saban looks like a young puppy in that clip. Guess the stress of trying to live up to his own expectation is catching up on him.

New administration and non boring head coach
* AD House Cleaning!

* SEC West/SEC Championship. (Will not happen unless the following unfolds into reality)…………….
* Orgeron Evolution. O has to evolve into an open minded, non-stubborn, non-BBQ Buddy hiring HC. (He can stay if he learns, adapts and progresses)
* Hiring of an open minded, progressive OC.
* Massive OL renovation a la New Orleans Saints...…..

* Elimination of all PIM in Tiger Stadium will do wonders to bring the "Glory Days" atmosphere back. (Move CBR to opening of the 3rd Quarter or eliminate it completely. It's old and worn out. The entire focus of Pre-Game should be TGBFTL and those infamous Four Notes.)

I told Saban, at the coach’s show that Wednesday, that the student section wasn’t going to let him down, and we didn’t! That is the loudest game I have ever been to. The bleachers were vibrating under my feet.

The atmosphere for State game wasn’t to bad either.

The Stadium gets loud for big games. Last nights got it got ok loud once or twice but the Bama game was great.

I worked in the Tiger Den Suites every single game from Fall 2000-end of 2004 season. Most everyone that bartender or captained a suite up there made over $500-$1000+ in tips per game. The excitement was even insane in there among the OG OT Ballers.

The BAMA game had a chance to be maybe the best crowd ever if it had been more competitive. Probably the most hyped I’ve seen the fan base going into a game in some time. That place was ready to explode!

I’m not saying the atmosphere is bad now in TS. Really just showing those that don’t know how amazing things were when that place got rockin back in the day.

Not a single pretentious soul in the place. Everybody in unity, terrifying our latest victim! It was AND IS electric!

The one and only Death Valley, where opponents dreams come to die!!

That game was unbelievable in that stadium that day. 07 Fla was the same

Oh what I'd give to have that little fkr still leading that teams out of that tunnel.
